[Michlib-l] Snap Circuits for Kids/Teen programming

Hello, Amanda.

I've used Snap Circuits with teens and younger kids. It's been successful both with experienced kids and those who know nothing about electrical circuits.

Usually I've had kids work in pairs and sometimes trios. It works as long as the teams are on about the same level. I've had to break up some teams that wanted to work together, because one person did everything, and the other(s) were lost.

I had a quick question to those librarians who have used Snap Circuits in their library programming. I am thinking about getting some for my teens and was curious as to how many kits you purchased to cover your programs? I am also curious if what the ratio is for programs, 1 kit per teen or can multiple teens use one kit?
