[Michlib-l] Update on Delivery of Federal Tax Forms

Do we know when the IRS will start mailing forms to taxpayers?

Do we know if they are mailing instruction books to taxpayers?

Do we know when they will start shipping to TFOPs?

Will the IRS accept quantity requests from TFOP participants at the regular
phone number?

Will the IRS have extra operators on the phones to accommodate the demand
or will patrons get a perpetual busy signal?

>From a survey done a few years ago, most libraries charged regular copy
fees for tax forms, instructions, and publications. If you charge, will
your library change this policy? How?

Will your library print quantities of forms eg Schedule A, B, C, D, 2441,
2106, etc. and put them out for free?

If this is going to be the norm, I don't see my library continuing in the
program. Anyone else feel this way?

I've already updated my bookmark for getting forms we don't carry to
include our Congressional contacts. I don't see any reason for us to take
the heat for this.
