2020 Teens' Top Ten Nominees Announcement
The announcement of the 2020 Teens' Top Ten<http://www.ala.org/yalsa/teenstopten> Nominees will take place on Monday, April 27 instead of its usual date during National Library Week. Keep your eyes peeled for the announcement on the Teens' Top Ten<http://www.ala.org/yalsa/teenstopten> web page and Twitter<https://twitter.com/yalsa>.

Remote Programming Ideas
Many of us are under quarantine and our libraries are closed, but that doesn't mean the programs have to stop. Instead of in-house teen programming, we must flex our out-of-the-box brain to come up with some remote programs. There are several teen librarians who are already doing some great remote programs<http://hq.yalsa.net/programs/6569/remote-programming> on Instagram and other websites. Check out the Programming HQ<http://hq.yalsa.net/index.html> for some ideas. If you are doing some remote programming that you would like to share, post<http://hq.yalsa.net/programs/share.html> it to the HQ.

YALS Journal Archive

Webinar: Building a Strong Teen Nonfiction Collection
Thursday, May 14; 2PM Eastern
Join YALSA for a three-part webinar series about collection development. The first part will feature recent Nonfiction Award Committee members in a discussion of all things teen nonfiction! Find out why certain titles rise above the rest, and how that plays into a substantial collection that is equitable, diverse, inclusive, as well as appealing. You will also learn about ways to sell the content to your users, and methods to encourage library staff to target potential nonfiction readers (and who they might be). Learn<http://www.ala.org/yalsa/onlinelearning/webinar> more and register for $29.
