Greetings!

The Public Library Association (PLA) is offering two free, 1-hour webinars on Project Outcome!

Measuring the Impact of Digital Literacy Services with Project Outcome & DigitalLearn.org
Thursday, 9/14/2017 2:00 PM-3:00 PM (Eastern)
Digital literacy services are offered in nearly all public libraries, from computer classes to individual tutoring assistance to online training resources. How can you provide consistent digital literacy training to the most frequently asked questions? How can you measure the success of these services, and how can you identify areas for improvement?

PLA has two free tools that can help you provide and measure digital literacy services. DigitalLearn.org provides tutorials on essential basic technologies designed for use in library patron training, and also offers the ability to create a custom site branded for your library. Project Outcome provides simple survey tools to measure the outcomes of digital literacy programs and services. This free webinar will show you how to use both of these tools together to augment your digital literacy training and measure the impact your digital literacy services have in the community.

Using Project Outcome Data to Improve & Support Library Programming
Thursday, 10/19/2017 2:00 PM-3:00 PM (Eastern)
The Public Library Association (PLA) is partnering with the American Library Association (ALA) Public Programs Office to present this webinar on the benefits of using outcome data to improve and support library programming. PLA's Project Outcome is a free online toolkit designed to help public libraries understand and share the impact of their programs and services by providing simple, standardized surveys and an easy-to-use process for measuring and analyzing outcomes.

Learn how to use Project Outcome data for programming decisions and improvements, funding requests, measuring against strategic priorities, and advocating for the impact your programs and services have on the community. Participants will hear real library examples and have the opportunity to ask questions.

For more information, or to register for these webinars, visit PLA's online learning webpage<http://www.ala.org/pla/education/onlinelearning/webinars>.
