ALCTS Web Course: Fundamentals of Metadata

This six-week course is an introduction to fundamental concepts of metadata, including:

  *   Descriptive, technical, and administrative metadata schema
  *   Content standards and controlled vocabularies
  *   Approaches to metadata creation and transformation
  *   Metadata project design
