Dear Library Directors,
The Hartford Public Library is beginning major planning to move to a 12,000 sq ft space in the local elementary school building. The building is now vacated and extensive repairs such as new roof, heat, air-conditioning, etc. is being negotiated through a private donor. Our board is looking for recommendations of a lawyer to represent the library in contract negotiations between the library and the building owners. The plan as it stands today, the school is being given to the City of Hartford after the renovations. The building will be occupied by the following tenants: the Hartford Public Library, Seniors Services and the Hartford School Adult Education.
Also the board is looking for a library architect to help plan the interior. We hope that we can find a lawyer and architect in the southwest Michigan area which would be more economical. If you have more questions, let me know. Thank you for your input.
