Established in 1872, Kalamazoo Public Library is considered the community leader in early childhood literacy, with a strategic focus on ensuring that all Kalamazoo County children start kindergarten ready to learn by providing numerous educational programs and events.

The library is currently seeking a Head of IT & Technical Services.  This position is responsible for all aspects of department operations under the direction of the Library Director.  Duties include managing the development, implementation and maintenance of new and existing library information systems, software, connectivity, website, online catalog and Technical Services (Cataloging, Acquisition & Material Processing) to sustain and improve library processes and support library strategies. The incumbent serves on the Management Team.
