Subject: [Michlib-l] Upcoming Webinars on storytimes & early literacy

The Every Child Ready to Read (ECRR) webinar series continues with two upcoming webinars: Story Time - Part One (focus on babies) on Tuesday, July 14th and Story Time - Part Two (focus on toddlers and PreK) on Monday, August 22nd, both are at 2pm. The webinars will introduce you to ways to implement Every Child Ready to Read skills in storytime. You can sign up for the FREE webinars at http://www.solutionwhere.com/lom/cw/CourseByAlpha.asp. The webinars will be recorded for registered participants.

There is also a webinar scheduled for Thursday, November 10th, also at 2pm. The subject of the November webinar has yet to be determined, but we are open to suggestions. Please email topic requests directly to me at LancasterC5 at michigan.gov<mailto:LancasterC5 at michigan.gov>. Some ideas already on our radar are sensory storytimes, movement/play in early literacy, and early literacy library spaces.

Join us and our presenter, Sue McCleaf Nespeca, for these engaging webinars on early literacy in your storytimes.

Thank you,

Cathy Lancaster
