[Michlib-l] Michigan Broadband Conference - Oct 20 in Lansing

The Library of Michigan is excited to sponsor the 2015 Michigan Broadband Conference on October 20 at the Lansing Center in Lansing, Michigan. Every year, the Michigan Broadband Conference attracts nationally recognized broadband and technology experts to join local leaders and provide attendees with best practices and insights into leveraging technology for improved community and economic development, education, digital literacy, healthcare, and workforce development. Actionable information and case studies will be provided to empower participants to work with local stakeholders and broadband providers in their communities to expand technology access, adoption, and use.
This year's conference will feature the following keynote presentations:

  *   Jay Elliot, technology executive and best-selling author of The Steve Jobs Way and Leading Apple with Steve Jobs, and
  *   Matthew DelNero, Chief of the Federal Communications Commission's Wireline Competition Bureau.
In addition to the keynote speakers, Connect Michigan has planned twelve panels with diverse content relevant for attendees across sectors and across Michigan.  There are topics and content for all!
