Jessica, The sugar and moisture mixes with the paper and creates a kind of glue and the fat in the chocolate is almost impossible to remove. I would charge the patron for the cost of the book.

Subject: [Michlib-l] Chocolate on book edges

Good afternoon,

Does anyone know how to get chocolate smooshed and smeared off the edges of the pages of a book?
