Hi All,

Let's be honest. Whether in life or in using the vast resources at MeL.org<http://mel.org/>, at some point we may find ourselves in need of examples, explanations, answers, and tips. MeL.org<http://mel.org/> contains 8 subject gateways, over 40 databases, teacher resources, Michigana, and MeLCat - a lot to master! This is why MeL.org includes a robust Help section<http://mel.org/Help> easily accessed from the homepage (in the top black bar and at the bottom right side under Resources). There are separate sections for MeL Search<http://mel.org/index.php?P=MeLHelpSearch>, MeL Databases<http://mel.org/index.php?P=MeLHelpDatabases>, MeLCat<http://mel.org/index.php?P=MeLHelpMelCat>, Michigana<http://mel.org/index.php?P=MeLHelpMichigana>, the Gateways<http://mel.org/index.php?P=MeLHelpGateways>, and Michigan Online Resources for Educators<http://mel.org/index.php?P=MeLHelpMORE>. Select FAQs are also listed and cover the Visiting Patron program, how MeL uses a driver's license when accessing a database, and which libraries participate in MeLCat. Worry not and look no further! There is Help<http://mel.org/Help> for your use of MeL.org<http://mel.org/>!

MeL Minutes are brought to you by the Library of Michigan. Want more information on MeL? Stay tuned for next week's MeL Minute available on many Michigan library listservs, email us at contact at mel.org<mailto:contact at mel.org> or visit mel.org<http://mel.org/>. We encourage you to share MeL Minutes with your public service colleagues.
