Hello Mi-SPI libraries,
I wanted to touch base with all of you and provide an update on MiSPI 2.0:
* the data refresh is complete
* final retentions are complete and available in GreenGlass
* next step is to register retentions wthi OCLC. This is optional but the steering committee is recommending this step as a best practice. Instructions are here: https://help.oclc.org/Metadata_Services/Shared_Print/Shared_Print_Registration_service_training
* Here are additional post-allocation GreenGlass features: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PcMexDeCTJU&feature=youtu.be
* over the next year: the steering committee will work on implementing a process for lost/missing items and title swapping, and investigate GoldRush software as a potential replacement for GreenGlass.
* The steering committee has 3 vacant seats! If you'd like to be a part of this work, please let Stephanie Davis (daviss at mcls.org) know.
Thank you,
Cara Cadena (GVSU), on behalf of the Mi-SPI steering committee
Stephanie Davis (MCLS), Matt Buckley (SVSU), Amie Pifer (CMU), Helen Levenson (Oakland University)
