Hello,

  I wanted to present the idea to the MI-SPI group of forming a Shared Print Collaboration Interest Group in MI-ALA.  So far we have 3/5 commitments needed to submit the necessary paperwork requesting the groups formation.  This interest group will not take the place of either the current MI-SPI group or the Steering Committee but rather serve as a platform to begin discussions with the other academic libraries in the state on this topic.   So all we need are two more institutions to move things forward.  Below is a copy of what I plan to submit to the section board but if anyone has suggestions for improving the language please send forward.
